Subconsciousness

I was going to watch the match between Cameroon and Japan earlier today. However, I did not. When i woke up, it was already 7am! After two days of missing world cup matches, i finally found out that i turned off my alarm subconsciously. How I knew? Well, if i were fully aware, i would know. In this case, i was the only one inside the room. My brother was outside sleeping. Well, that's about it. This was typed on phone with help from auto dictionary.

Germany v Ghana

Germany and Ghana. Earlier today at the time of this post, they were in a match. The result, Germany 1-0 Ghana. I didn't watch the match, tho. For some reason, i didn't hear my alarm go off. I know it did, but i just didn't hear it. I watched the encore telecast later today.

It was the first time ever in my life that I didn't hear my alarm. This blog entry was typed entirely on my phone, with help from auto dictionary.

Edit: When I got to the blog on my laptop, I changed the font to Georgia and then changed my sig to the FIFA World Cup sig.

England and USA

England and USA. This time, they are not facing each other but instead, it's the results of both of their matches. To the huge surprise of many, England will qualify for the Knockout stage a.k.a. Round of 16. USA also qualifies for the knockout stage. Before the end of their respective matches, they both had 2 points. Slovenia 3 points and Algeria 1 point. If England won their match, they would advance to the next round regardless of the result of their match.

USA. Believe it or not, former US president Bill Clinton was there to watch the match. I only knew this at the end of the match. There was a camera shot of Bill Clinton and the commentator mentioned the name Bill Clinton. Every line of this paragraph has had the name of that guy. USA 1-0 Algeria. Bill Clinton. USA were lucky to get that goal in injury time. Slovenia 0-1 England. Bill Clinton. I missed the goal as the goal was scored just as I changed from England to USA match. Bill Clinton. :)

Later on at the time of this post will be Germany v Ghana and Serbia v Australia. Germany gonna be an exciting match. Now, I can update my blog via MMS or email. Updates on-the-go. But it's probably gonna be annoying. I mean, if I were to type a blog entry this long, it would be tiring and very time-consuming.

Finally more blog posts

It's been quite some time since I've posted something on my blog. I've just been too lazy to do that. Now, first I'm gonna talk about the FIFA World Cup.

England. A team that was known to be very attacking and also a team that was known to beat most of the teams that they were facing. Now, it has all changed. For England to proceed to the next round, they have to beat Slovenia. Something that seems very unlikely. Beat Slovenia, go to the next round regardless of who wins USA v Algeria. I don't think England can make it.

Spain. Hot favourites for the FIFA World Cup. Now one thing. They lost to Switzerland. It was the first time out of 15 or 16 times that they have met in international meeting that they have lost.

Shock results have been in this World Cup. Such as Brazil 2-1 North Korea. However, there are results that reflect the classic FIFA World Cup. Argentina 4-1 South Korea, Germany 4-0 Australia. Those shock results might be because of the Jabulani World Cup ball. It might be the players. Whatever we know, it might be almost the exciting part of the World Cup.

First 2 FIFA World Cup match results

The FIFA World Cup kicked off yesterday and many of my friends stayed up to watch it. Not only male, but also some females. I was on Facebook too. I only managed to catch the opening match, South Africa v Mexico. After South Africa's "World Cup Moment" goal, I was sure that South Africa had a chance to win this match. I was sad when Mexico scored. My high hopes for South Africa were suddenly dashed. The result: South Africa 1-1 Mexico. According to Yahoo! Eurosport, South Africa have never lost their first World Cup match. 14 Wins and 6 Draws(including this one). It was a good match. Lots of opportunities. South Africa had lots of chances to score another goal. IMO, the referee blew the whistle too soon. As in he should not have blown the whistle yet. South Africa was attacking. AFAIK, refs aren't supposed to blow when one team is attacking!

Now for the 2nd match. I didn't get to watch it live but I DID watch about 30 mins of the encore telecast. It was Uruguay v France at Cape Town. The result: Uruguay 0-0 France. It is still a shock result. The thing is, in both matches, the result was a draw. Uruguay and France have both won the World Cup. Uruguay won the 1st World Cup way back in 1930. France's last World Cup win was in 1998. My birth year. Even though it ended in a 0-0 draw, It was an exciting match. Like South Africa, both teams had lots of chances. Unfortunately, those chances did not end up in a goal.

Till next time, this is

Later that day....

Later is the start of the FIFA World Cup. It is finally here after 4 years! I still remember back during the 2006 World Cup in Germany. I told my brother to wake me up for the final. But, he DIDN'T! This time, I'll make sure that I get to watch the finals. This is a very short blog entry as I don't have many ideas. About that song "Waka Waka"....yeah, I downloaded it. It's actually quite OK. Not too bad. I actually didn't know that Shakira was from Colombia. So, yeah. Till next time.

FIFA World Cup

Tomorrow is the start of the FIFA World Cup and I'm pretty excited. The FIFA World Cup is an event that is held once every four years for a duration of a month. It is the highest international football honour and only 7 countries have ever won it. Brazil tops the chart with 5 wins, Italy with 4, Germany with 3, Argentina and Uruguay with 2 and France and England with 1.

This year's world cup will be held in South Africa as part  of a policy to rotate the event among football confederations. The official theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup can be found here(go on, click it!) . It is called Waka Waka and for some reason, I don't like it. No, I'm not racist and I don't hate other religions. I respect everybody.

With that out of the way, we can get on to the opinions. But first, here's what the trophy looks like:
Just so that nothing bad happens, I'm going to tell you something VERY public. You know what it is? No? Wanna know? Well, ok. I am not associated with FIFA in any way and the trophy and logo belongs to FIFA. The pictures were gotten from Wikipedia.

Back to what I said earlier. Opinions. A lot of people, including experts, say that Spain is going to win the World Cup this year. This is probably due to the fact that they won the Euro 2008. I have three choices for who's gonna win the World Cup this year. 1) Argentina. They have a great squad which includes Tevez, Messi, Milito and Zanetti. 2) Spain. Yes, Spain. I agree with some of the experts. I just don't believe that Portugal can win. And finally, 3) Italy. Italy won the previous World Cup. They might be able to defend their title. They have Buffon, Cannavaro, De Rossi, Iaquinta, etc.

And as 2 final notes, I do 60 sit-ups per day. 30 in the morning, 30 at night. The second one, you obsessed Justin Bieber fans can go watch your MTV while us football fans watch our

boring boring holidays

Well, school is over and here comes the boring holidays. Sure, i actually love holidays but it's gonna be quite boring. I mean, there's gonna be nothing to do. My PS2 is broken, my bike is having problems, i only get to use the laptop at night, etc.

Going to have to go back to school on the 1st and 3rd week for supplementary lessons so i kinda have a chance to meet up with friends again. Well, when you're bored, you'll do ANYTHING!

In other news, I passed my 1.6km walk/run with flying colours! Got a time of 10:07! A new record! I actually could have gotten 3rd but in the last about.....7(?) laps my foot felt like it had a sharp pain. Until now(3/6/2010), my foot is still painful. I predict that it will probably take about one month of rest to heal. But now it feels quite ok actually. I just can't run.

EDIT: Supplementary classes were really boring. 2nd day 3 hrs of English/Science and 4th day English/Science 3 hrs straight! Aw man! - 3/6/2010

My Exam Results

It's me again and this time I'm not going to review anything, but instead talk about my personal life. Today's topic is; "My Exam Results". Here goes. For English, I got the highest marks. I got 86.5 out of 95 for Paper 2(Highest). I got 22/30 for oral, 11.5/15 for situational writing and 29/40(also the highest) for composition. Oh and 19 for Listening Comprehension. That makes it 168/200!(A)

Now for Mother Tongue. Mother Tongue is one of my weakest subjects so don't be surprised if I don't get an A. I got 36/50 for oral, 17.5/40 for composition. >:(. 16/20 for Listening Comprehension and a sad 62/90 for Paper 2. That makes it a total of 131.5 only(B). Well at least I got 131.5!

And finally for Maths and Science. Science first. I got 70/100 total which makes me around 7th. Hey, a lot of people got 70 to 77 marks. Only 2 'A's. For Maths, I just got my results earlier.  I got 74/100 for Maths. Just one more mark and I would get 'A'. At first I got 76(which is an 'A'), but then, due to marking error in Paper 1, I dropped by two marks! This disappoints me a lot.

In other news, tomorrow(Tuesday) and on Thursday I am having my NAPFA Test. The weekend I have been practicing my sit-ups. I'm just worried for my shuttle run and 1.6km run/jog.

Iron Man 2 Review + Before & After

Hey guys. I said in my earlier Swensen's review that I would be making an Iron Man 2 review. Yes, it is IRON MAN 2!!!! I just saw this movie yesterday with my friends. Enjoy -

Iron Man 2 Review by Justbloggering @ JustBlogging

I just saw this movie yesterday but it was an amazing movie. I was told by my friends to meet them at Yew Tee point at 2.30pm near the main entrance. We were going to Golden Village @ Jurong Point to watch Iron Man 2. Once everybody was there, we went to Yew Tee MRT Station and went to Boon Lay to watch the movie.

Once we were there, we made our way to Golden Village at Jurong Point. Last time when I went there with my mother, it was a long way. But, we easily found GV with my friends. We went as a whole group to the ticketing counter. The person at the counter then told us to send only one representative from our group to buy the tickets. While everyone used their Ez-Link Concession Card to get a student discount, I used my movie voucher to get my ticket FREE! See, I like being kiasu Singaporean.

We wanted to book the 3.30pm show but we were told that there were only the 1st row & 2nd row seats left. My friend who was buying the ticket decided for us to watch the 4.25pm show. To find an easy way to pass the time, we went to the arcade. At the arcade I played games like racing, shooting and basketball. When it was 4.15pm, we went to the cinema again to buy drinks and popcorn. I told my friends to wait up. When we reached our cinema(cinema 5), I told my friends that I wanted to buy a drink. So I did. My friend who bought the ticket accompanied me. Then we went to the toilet before getting back in our seats.

At about 4.31pm(6 mins later than the scheduled start time), the movie FINALLY started. Had the intro, the action, the funny bits and of course the ending. Halfway through the movie, my friend, Chester's phone rang. The ringtone, Chiki Chiki. Hahaha gotta love that ringtone. And no, you're not gonna find that song on YouTube.

Iron Man 2 had great music. Highway to Hell by AC/DC, a new Iron Man song by AC/DC too. The final battle scene was amazing. Then there were those awesome montages. Then at about 6.40pm, the movie ended. Then my friend that did not come called my friend Cheng Jun. Turns out he had been waiting for us since the movie started at Golden Village. To pass the time, he went played with someone else(a girl) at the arcade. Then we went back to Yew Tee via MRT. Me and my friend went to McDonalds. I just wanted to buy a cheeseburger because I was hungry lol.

Then we walked home,  of course. To sum it all up, Iron Man 2 was a great movie. You should really go and watch it. One of the two best movies I have ever seen. The other being Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. I would give Iron Man 2 a rating of 10/10!

The highlighted sentence is something only the people that went know.In a few days I think I'm gonna post a review on the FIFA World Cup television prices here in Singapore and how the rights to the Premier League affected the prices. Keep reading my blog and follow me.

My SWENSEN'S Review

Hey guys its me and I'm gonna make a Review on Swensen's! Alright, here we go -

Knowing it was the first time ever I was  going to Swensen's, I was very excited. Me, my sister and my mother headed over to Causeway Point to enjoy Swensen's. It was on the second floor of Causeway Point. When we got there, we were warmly greeted by the waiter who brought us to a table. We were then given one menu each.

I chose to have a beef strogalina or something. I forgot what it was called but I know it was baked rice with beef on top. My mother ordered Spaghetti with Meatballs. On the menu, I noticed something. There was an item called "American Cheeseburger". Doesn't sound like much doesn't it? Well, it's actually a PIZZA!

Now to the food. My beef baked rice was delicious. I ate everything on the plate. Oh, I forgot, my sister ordered cheese fish fingers. I ate two. The first one I ate was amazing. I took a bite. Suddenly, I saw cheese being pulled by me. It was really hard to break. It just goes on and on until you use a fork or knife to break it or twist the cheese with your mouth until it snaps.

Back to the baked beef rice. It was the first time I ate every single vegetable that I don't like. Like mushrooms(shut up, I know they're fungi) and many others that I don't normally eat with rice. It was a good choice. I then tasted some of my mother's spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were quite alright. The spaghetti was better than the one my mother makes at home, and I love my mother's home made spaghetti!

After finishing the main course, we ordered dessert. I ordered something like 2 scoops of ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Only one word to describe the taste of it. PHENOMENAL! Mocha and chocolate ice cream: a good combination. My mother and I shared the dessert. My sister ordered and ice cream cake. A cake made fully of ice cream.

It was two layers of ice cream one on top of the other. It was topped with a cherry with the roundish part dipped in chocolate and loads of chocolate syrup beside the ice cream cake. After the dessert, we left.

Swensen's food  was great. I would give it a 7.5/10!

And that was my Swensen's review, I hope you enjoyed it!

On an end note, I will be posting my Iron Man 2 review later on. Be sure to keep checking my blog!

Congrats Chelsea. It wasn't yours but you won it.

Very recently, Chelsea FC(the club I don't support) won the Premier League! NO!!!! To make it worse, they TOTALLY THRASHED WIGAN 8-0!! United(the team that I DO support) on the other hand, won. 4-0. Meh. I just needed Chelsea to draw in that match. One point. Just one point made the difference between winning the Premier League and coming in 2nd.

Now it's my exam period. It's the first exam period I've ever had that I revise all 4 subjects. The only worries are Mother Tongue and Science. My Mother Tongue is OK and I can get a B for it. I'm not so sure for my Science tho.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111!!!!!!

Liverpool lost the only one time I wanted them to win! SHIT! The referee so kelong sia! Why did Chelsea win?!!? There probably goes man u's chance of winning the league. Hrrrmmmph.

And on that rusty bicycle chain, it's time to end the day.

One of the worst pains I ever had in my life.

This only happened about 1 and 1/2 hours ago. Wanna know what happened? I fell down in the shower. F**k. I was like "everybody let's kung fu fighting" then all of a sudden I was like "whoah!". I fell. This was the 2nd time I fell down this year. I fell, my head hit the damn toilet. It really really hurt. Even until now.

Ugh maybe April and May are the worst months of the year for me. The worst part of pain, to me, is that it hurts. I just hope that Liverpool actually wins tonight. Here's the current table updated on 2/5/2010:

Table is property of Barclays Premier League official website premierleague.com. I am not associated with it.

And on that bombshell, it's time to post this post. Good 2.35pm afternoon!

THE BIG MATCH

Tomorrow's the big match between Liverpool and Chelsea. The reason it's such a big match is because it will decide whether Man United's title hopes will stay alive. By a twist of fate, I actually hope that Liverpool win this match. Liverpool win, they might go to Europe. Big Deal. The point is that if Chelsea lose, they get no points. And if they get no points and United win both of the next matches, they win the Premier League! Easy as that. I don't care if Liverpool go to Europe(even though geographically they are). I just want United to win the Premier League. It will be my first time in my life that I am actually hoping that Liverpool win a match. It's not about personal matters this time, it's about the league.

YOUTUBE ***DOESN'T*** SUCK!

It wasn't YouTube. It just turned out to be my browser. I just needed to clear the cache. I am so pai seh sia! I so damn mad until I go smash the table. Lucky the table never break hahahaha. . Just put the blame on me. I just read the FAQs.

In other news, I just got WAP on my phone. I figured it out. But, I can't go to FB, Yahoo or even YouTube. Nevermind, I'll just figure it out. But, it's kinda expensive. I just spent $3 of my prepaid today. Shit. I better lay off it for at least one week.

In more news, it's gonna be my Paper 1 exams on Monday and Tuesday. Good thing MT compo is on Tuesday because I suck at it. Better study for it!

The title is so damn self-explanatory. YOUTUBE SUCKS. THE NEW YOUTUBE SUCKS. I keep getting "An error occured, please try again later"! I'm running on Windows 7, latest flash player, fast internet connection and I get those damn stupid errors. And, I NEED A WALKTHROUGH FOR HALF-LIFE! I'm stuck at the first part and I can't get a stupid video walkthrough for even just a few minutes.

Ughh...ORAL EXAMS!!

Oral exams are next week. No, not THAT oral exams(some people...pfft...), but the ENGLISH oral exams. I'm kinda stressed out right now. This time, as i'm P6, there's gonna be 3 oral exams. SA1, Prelims and PSLE(OMG)! SA1 Oral is next week, prelims are in August and PSLE is probably in September.

Nobody likes taking exams. Seriously, NOBODY. NOBODY NOBODY BUT YOU! Nah, jk. Dang, i gotta stop pretending I got a lot of followers! Ok guys, that's all
